After a lot of research in the property agencies sector,
I have found that property real estate agencies charge a ridiculously high 7%-10% flat fee over the total contractual agreement for their tenant finding and management services.
For example: 12 months x (£800) rental agreement
= £9600.00 x 7% / 100 = £672.00 for the total fee.
If you were to renew the contract with the same tenants after a year, an additional fee of average £150.00 is charged.
For new tenants it would be a new fee charged again.
I am an Independent Property Manager
(not an agency) and am offering a more reasonable one-off flat fee of for Property Mangement Services. £400.00 per property with no additional cost for annual renewals or new tenant contracts within the same property.
For full-time management, I charge a small additional fee from the tenants.
I offer tenant finding services for a quicker letting opportunity for your property with a small one off fee of 50% of the 1st month’s rental value. As I have a huge professional client base and with a visable web advertising ability, you will be ensured your property will be filled quickly.
NOTE:
These fees will be taken from the initial 1st rent payment unless otherwise agreed between both parties, as the deposit will be deposited directly with the Deposit Protection Service.
